Raid Gauloises Preparation
You can see here a relatively relaxed part of our preparation for the Raid Gauloises!
For once we were not master of the events: but we showed that we are also able to do activities in which we do not sweat too much….
For centuries the horse is the natural way of transportation in the steppes of central asia. Therefore we will also have the pleasure of horse back riding during the Raid Gauloise… This is not actually our speciality…. But we will get used to it quickly… ;-)
For some of us this horse back riding training was just the second time sitting on a horse…. And we did 50km!!!!
But our dear calves, hamstrings and asses… survived!!! And we are very much looking forward to gallop through the steppes of Kirgistan like Dschingis Khan.
